Looking to frame this out as a small home rack closet with components picture, wiring the home with cat 5e. Would it be wiser to put a door, or just frame out the current cubby, and running the cable into the attic?

I think a full door would allow better access to repair, etc.

How would you go about it? Besides the frame out... What would you add besides power, light source, switch for light source, and ventilation fans? What am I missing?
