Is there a name for small POTs that have LEDs built in, like pic related? Looking for something like this for something I'm working on.

Im interested as well..
I have worked with electronics in various places and application, and i have never encountered pots which were illuminated.
I have meet pot that had a knob attached which was illuminated though..
you dont have to illuminate the pot, just the knob, and for that you can drill a hole, and glue a tiny LED pushed into the hole. connect the LED using some wire that can withstand a lot of movement, like headphone or telephone-handset wire.

just as i suspected, it is just a clear knob with a SMD led behind it. It works best if the clear knob axle goes all the way through to the pcb. You can illuminate any clear knob from the side but it probably wont shine evenly.
