Hey DIY I've been tasked in varnishing this kids chair that got gifted to a school I do work for sometimes. It's been covered in beautiful really lovingly painted images of classic Disney scenes.

I have no idea what paint was used. What kind of varnish do I want to put on this that won't melt days of someone's labour away.

Carefully test it on a less noticeable spot on the chair. Let it dry. Still looks ok? Do rest of chair.
