I want to make a foot pump sink but these primer bulbs are way too expensive. I just need something I can hook some hose to and pump one way for wash water. Any suggestions?
Go to Petco and grab a gravel cleaner for a fish tank. Tho might be more expensive for the larger scale stuff. Do a little homework maybe and see if its cost effective

You arent going to find anything much cheaper that will last.
The cheap syphons you see are plastic bulbs which fail very quickly.
If the project is going to be used a lot just spend the money.
If its used very little get a 5$ gravel pump with a plastic bulb. Make sure not to get the siphon actuated ones without a hand pump.
