How old is it OP? The date is stamped on the bottom.

Bumping for interest, i have a zippo i dont use lying around as well. If somebody knows how to a make a jammer or a gun out of it, or a way to have it detonate when opened thatd be great.

pull out the insides, fill it with strike anywhere matches, then scribe a striker onto the bottom.. sell to hipsters as an old school pipe lighter for about 50x what it's actually worth... repeat for max profit...

I think you can buy different internals for it that take butane or some gas instead.
I have two regular zippo and the novely of having to fill it up every few days gets old, I just went back to using bics and put the zippos on display.
