How do I clean this white stuff off of my helmet? Rubbing alcohol only smudges it around. Water doesn't seem affect it. I may have seen some small crystals on my helmet around the areas where the smudges are, so that might be what it is.

In all seriousness - gasoline.
Rubbing alcohol rarely works and brake part cleaner will remove the paint. Gas will clean it without damaging the paint, just have a second rag to wip it off.
