ok, I'll give you a simple guide on how to play a song from your computer to your arduino

materials:
1 miniplug mono cable (3.5mm)
1 speaker
1 arduino
1 computer with miniplug output

steps:
1.- connect the stripped miniplug wire to GND in your arduino
2.- connect the other stripped miniplug wire to pin 3 in your arduino
3.- connect one wire of your speaker to GND in your arduino
4.- conect the other wire of your speaker to pin 3 in your arduino
5.- enter this code in your arduino:
setup()
{
}
loop()
{
}
6.- compile your code and deploy to your arduino
7.- connect the other end of your miniplug cable into your computer output
8.- choose a song and play it on your computer
9.- turn the volume at the desire level
10.- enjoy, you have now figure it out how to play a song using an arduino

have fun

Arduinos *are* SBCs, with AVR and ARM microcontrollers as their processors.
