Sup diy. I have always wanted to be a jeweler as a hobby ever since I had a job selling jewelry 15 years ago. I am finally going to start getting my tools together and I am curious as to if anyone here knows anything about it. I really would like some ideas on where to pick up scrap jewelry I can dismantle and melt to have my own metal stock.

also dont go buying second hand jewellery (unless its gold/plat/plad and at below scrap metal price) for the purpose of remelting and making. Look up your nearest precious metal dealer and go to them and get nice fresh new stuff. there are various reasons for this but im tired so just dont do it.
