Sundews might be a better choice. Mosquitoes tend to be a little too light to trip flytraps. You practically have to hand feed them most of the time. Sundews just have little sticky beads all over them (as long as you keep them watered) that attract the little bastards.

Won't work.

1 : Venus fly trap will not close on a mosquitoe, its too light.
2 : Mosquitoes are not interrested in the sugar those plants use to attract insects.

Follow the instructions. Never done it before myself. Would've bought a few half-grown ones myself.

They are attracted to some wavelengths of light, recall it as the uv spectrum.
Also carbon dioxide like with bees, your body oder (smelly feet) and your body heat..

First shield off any access, then kill the rest with either bug spray, or a electric bug zapper.

The spray is very effective.
