Hey anons,

I'm trying to find a book about karmic glazes.
Something that explains the hole procedure. From mixing the minerals to the kiln.
Any suggestions?

No idea, but if you find the a Wikipedia page, the external links usually has some good resources. I'd give that I try.

I know how to use Wikipedia.
Satements like :'suspension of various powdered minerals and metal oxides are applied' aren't enough.
I need a collection of colours, mixtures and how to use them. Chears anyway...

Maybe you should try to find a book about ceramic glazes instead; something tells me you'll have better luck.

Potter here. Some good ones:

Mastering Cone 6 Glazes: Improving Durability, Fit and Aesthetics (John Hesselberth, Ron Roy)

Clay and Glazes for the Potter (Daniel Rhodes, Robin Hopper) This one is probably the first book you should read as it is encyclopedic in general materials, chemistry, firing, and methods.

The Complete Guide to High-Fire Glazes: Glazing & Firing at Cone 10 (John Britt)

The Ceramic Spectrum (Robin Hopper) This one may be the most valuable second book to read because it explains practical testing procedure well.

There are many others, but I refer to these ones fairly often. They tend to be assigned frequently to students.

I don't know a single professional who doesn't have all of these.
