I just fucked up my car's dashboard display.
It's a simple flexible plastic plate, semi-transparent in some places completely opaque in others.
My objective was to make all the green parts white becuase green looked horrible, but I managed to fuck it up by dipping it in nail polish (although I did remove all the green).
How can I make another piece? Should I order laser cut vynil from somewhere? Can I make something similar?
I'm currently drawing a new dashboard in photoshop.

which were way cooler (pre LED), but probably even more difficult to find. Forgot you dont like green either, but, nevermind. As said tho, scrapyards/ebay, complete instrument cluster be max 50 EUR, can straight swap assuming you dont care about km satnd exactness, bit of patience and searching, one will appear.
Otherwise, you went full retard - you draw a new one in PS, then what? you gonna need to get it printed on special film, normal shit will just fade/curl/etc. - back where you started. BX - way cool cars tho, had one, the funky hydraulics would go wonk, then every-fucking-thing would chuck it at the same time in sympathy, brakes, the fucking lot. Happened oncce too often, but, smoothest damn car ever, no shit.

No it won't. Just lase it onto a bog-standard laser transparency, and you're golden.

Yup this. Regular old mylar film. Color laser printer, ink is shit on it.
I'm one step away from printing my custom dashboard, can anybody provide images or resources I can use?
Get it as clean as possible and scan it with the highest dpi you can, then you can get it re printed on clear sheets like they used to use on overhead projectors at a print or sticker shop.
Protip; if you are any good with photoshop, you can change your number styles etc.

Just draw the geometric shapes yourself using inkscape and use unicode symbols ( and whatever) for all dash icons. Or use gimp/photoshop if you need to have it all as a bitmap.
It's not even hard, even a 12yo in flash mx could hack it.
