This should work just fine, theres plenty info on the net.

I second decoupage

Throw it away and buy a real camera. Not even trolling. If you have enough money to buy one of those plastic body, plastic lens pieces of shit, you have enough money to buy a decent old folder (if you're set on medium format) or a decent 35mm SLR with cash left over for another lens or two.
Behold the utter nonsense of the capacitor snob.

Just talking bad about it doesn't change the fact that you're obviously advertising it.
So I'm doing yard work for a guy and he wants me to get a bunch of dead grass out and make the lawn just dirt (pic related) any one got a good way to do this easily? Right now the best I've found is to just take a weed Wacker to it all to get it down to dirt. That ident working to well either. Any advice would help
>>943061
What does he want the ground to look like after? I just take a rototiller on its shallowest setting to it. It would bust up the top inch or two of soil and make it easy to remove the grass and roots.
>>943068
He wants it to just be plan dirt and my tools and knowledge of tools is limited.
>>943068
Actually I have one and I forgot because I'm an idiot thanks for the help
Multi-boarder here and my first time on /diy/ I just finished assembling what will become my solder fume extractor, (or whatever you want to call it.) It's not pretty, but it works.
The big thing I did to it was reverse the shaded-pole motor so it pulls air through the front rather than blowing air out the front.
So, my question to you /diy/ what do you use to not breath in solder fumes while working on projects?
>>945641
>not getting high off solder/weld fumes
>>945680
go back to 420chan, druggie... also the smoke will eventually give you cancer.
>>945641
>what do you use to not breath in solder fumes while working on projects?
I go outside, or I use a small desk fan to push the smoke away from me. I dont do huge solder jobs much.
I plan on 3d printing one like pic related, but as always im having more hardware issues with my printer.
Okay DIY'ers, I have bought a house. I have already ripped out walls, floors and put in new framing, but while I have choices I want to work on a sound system that is built into my ceiling. the roof is 24in trusses, but some people say sonos is a better option and to use outlets. let me see opinions on whether to go wireless or wired through the roof for an overall home sound system
pic related, i removed 2 walls to make a large master and a medium walk in
this side is the closet and single toilet, i moved the wall out 2 feet and made it into a larger master bath
>>944834
>while I have choices I want to work on a sound system that is built into my ceiling
No you don't. It will sound like shit. Wiring? Sure. Run the wiring in the walls and place mounts near the outlets but don't mount the speakers in the walls.
>>944842
Mount them in the walls but don't drywall over them.
cut out holes where they'd be the same as you do for power outlets and switches then put drywall up and mount a speaker dover over hole in drywall.
And that studwork needs to be nogged out for sheets of drywall to go up nigga
Anyone have any practical on repairs to these units?
I found repairfaq.org that seems to have some good info.

Whats wrong with it?
So I just started a new job at a plant that makes seals, similar to pic related. Even though I'm new, I've been asked to sit in on a meeting regarding an issue they've had, and I think it would be nice if I had some input.
As for the issue...the production crew has recently gotten into the bad habit of mixing up seals. For exampl.e, one seal might have be 4 x 5 (ID x OD), and it'll get dumped in with a box of seals that are 100mm x 125mm. Very close but not the same. Now we're trying to find a fast and simple way for the monkeys in production...

Put a feed pipe on the part hopper that is small enough to allow the smaller part through, but too big for the larger part. You could also make a goldberg-esq sorting slot, same mechanisms they use in vending machines to sort coins. Small hole followed by a large on a ramp. Small parts roll down and drop through first small hole, larger parts roll past first hole and into second large hole.
If the seals are...

Do cars still use relays for that blinker sound? I have an 05 passat with an overactive blinker sound. Doesn't matter which blinker, when I cancel it I get a handful more rapid ticks (no lights). Sometimes just get the rocks while driving along, no lights though
Any ideas? Gogling had failed me

It's a meme bro
>>943913
Generally that means you have a busted light.
>>943913
Nah, some cars have a big "flasher" but i believe your car has a switch that talks to a bcm (body control module) that then sends the message to the bulb you're trying to use. I know this might sound stupid but have you checked all the bulbs? It's probably unlikely all 4 corners turn signals are out but bulbs are probably the cheapest "guess" you can make. If it's not bulbs, just keep them for when you need them. Check the fuses, probably not that but if it is checking anything else...

post to find a dead treadmill on craigslist, so you can salvage the rollers, tread, and frame, then add angle iron.
>>944451
That was assembled from a kit, or at least from prefab components. Try a web search for keywords "prefabricated conveyor extruded metal framework" or similar. Then buy the kit or components you need and assemble with tools.
Making server closet. Curious of how to add good airflow.
Also, should I put a full door cutting the piece of drywall out, or keep it half way? I was thinking full door so I can get side/rear access. Any tips please!
If you are too retarded to install a vent, you may just be too retarded to install a server closet.
>>944396
If you are saying you know the exact mechanics of airflow. vent =/= airflow. Nice try..

Honestly that's probably the best you're going to get for that budget. I'd personally go for the second one because I don't like white but they're basically the same.
for the love of god do NOT buy from sears. I had a MISERABLE experience, buy from best buy if you can, i had an amazing experience. Anywhere but sears for fuck sake.
