Traditional works aren't my forte, so I could be wrong, but I think that's actually ink linework on top of a rough pencil sketch, which has also been used for shading. The censorship appears to have been done with a felt tip marker. These would point to this image actually being, in fact, a drawing. In my experience, children tend to be mostly composed of flesh, with some bone tissue. Things like that can be useful little rules of thumb to help tell these two disparate concepts apart. I, too, had difficulty distinguishing between drawings and reality, although that was when I was in the neonatal stages of development. Of course, we do not all grow up at the same speed, and I wish you good luck in dealing with this little "cross to bear" you have, so to speak.
