Tried looking on fetlife for people who were into this fetish based on a discussion I had with a few people in this last thread.

I've come across some resources for those who want amputation, but most of it was for people generating situations that result in the amputation of their limb, which freaked me out a bit. And you're right, there aren't that many people interested in taking care of someone who wants to be a quadruple amputee. It's a pretty niche section of the amputee devotee community. Hmmn- creating situations that results in amputation seems life threatening and all together not very well planned out. Your example is completely predicated on the fact that the relationship is solely based on sexual gratification. Now, there may be quite a few people who want that type of arrangement, but I know that there are people who want an actual relationship, ending in marriage, with a quadruple amputee. And their interest in the person isn't just because they are missing their limbs, but also consider them physically attractive (face, body-type, etc.) and like their personality. Hell, two people could even meet each other, fall in love, and then ultimately decide to live out their fantasy by one of them becoming limbless. Plus, nothing says that the able-bodied person in the relationship couldn't get help from a caregiver once and awhile to give them a break. If things wind up not working out between the couple, it's not like the limbless person is going to have an impossible time finding another partner.
Think about all the real quadruple amputees out there who have a significant other. Do you really think 100% of them let disability stop them from enjoying life or each other's company?
