you might want to try non-water based lubes like coconut oil or a powerful water-based lube like j-lube. There was a lot on this in the previous anal thread, so I'll try and summarize.
For quick and light play a small enema is best. You should only use enough water and be in a position so that the water doesn't go past your lower colon, "around the bend". This will clean all you're gonna need for light and shallow play, without washing down more poo from your upper bowels.
As for more intensive play what you eat and when is going to really start coming into play. At a minimum skip lunch and maybe breakfast if you plan on doing a lot of anal play that evening, though I would recommend just fasting/going on a non-solid diet for the day before and of play for absolute certainty. Can confirm that coconut oil is legit as lube. It turns to liquid almost immediately on contact with skin (or is just liquid if your home is really warm, I think it melts around 75 F). I've never had any real issues with smells before. What company/website is it from? In any case, if you confirm that it is actually silicone and not any type of plastic it should be able to be boiled in water which might help, though the fact that it is holding smells so much makes me think it might not be silicone.
