I think it's more the drama that often crops up in those threads. The mods didn't care about the CTI card threads until people began to roll spam.
Personally I think the moderation needs to be a tiny bit more transparent, so we don't need to guess at this stuff, and the people who keep posting shit that they know is getting deleted need to grow up.

Because captions were infesting every thread. A few months ago you couldn't go more than five posts without seeing some retarded text plastered over a potentially titillating image . Sure, caption threads might be getting culled, but I'd prefer that to how it used to be. You can always start caption threads on other boards, you know.
