See, I've had that happen a bunch of times. The idea is you're not looking for that one chick that sees life like a movie and they are just waiting for that one guy to come along and fix all their problems. I've been told before, after writing foot-themed stuff, that my descriptions of the smells were turnoffs to some who prefer different smells, so these days when I write about foot odor I tend to leave the specific qualities of the odor up to the imaginations of my readers unless I'm telling a personal anecdote which actually occurred.
