Continuing on, I consider it like this. For me, there is a 'threshold' for femininity, much like that chart for the uncanny valley, although mine is far more... general.
If the trap is in the ballpark of 'looks like a girl' it's all good. This includes things such as personality and appearance, way of dress and stature. A wide shouldered girl faced monolith with the waistline of a barrel does not a trap make, however I find taller traps to be cute.
If the trap has too many cues of masculinity, I won't like it. A good example of this is DoZA's famous set about the boyish trap that was cool with getting fucked, but also wanted to fuck girls. This did nothing for me, a red flag. I like all three just fine (the doujins, cg sets, whatever you want to call them), but if I had to pick, I'd choose the latter two.
