To be honest... I don't know what they hope to accomplish with that. Art styles vary so much that there's really no way to know where something came from unless it's plastered with something obvious like kanji characters...
That said, I think a much better idea would be to split up /d into something for all the dudes with tits and something else for 'alternative' stuff. It's weird that more than half the board is futanari at any given time. Maybe /alt and /d would be more appropriate, but I don't care either way... I always assumed progressive rows were smaller because that's how it is with animals that have multiple rows of breasts. I've never personally verified this, so I could be way off, but personally I also prefer consistent size.
