I think that kind of fusion would be amazing. As long as traits stack (like DBZ for example), fusion people would be OP as crap in real life. As long as the people fused were moderately smart/strong/etc., the fusion would be at pretty high levels. And that's just two slightly above average people. Just wondering guys, so if a person dies in the process because he/she is absorbed, or maybe 2 people die after merging but they create a new one - is it bad and you can't fap to this. But what if a person becomes an eternal, maybe even mindless slave of someone in this case instead of dying, or stays in a state when he/she is alive but can't do anything, like a portion of slime in a goo-creature - is it better? So basically there is a virtual chance for this person to recover, but it is almost impossible.
Somewhat weird example, but still, there was a scene in one of recent X-men movies with Wolverine, where he has drowned in the river under some heavy thing and he couldn't die also, so imagine the same thing happened to him in the ocean, with the fact that nobody will find him. This is one of the biggest problems I always run into with absorption/fusion fetish stuff... it's incredibly hot, but my personal deviancy can't quite handle the moral issues that frequently seem to come up, at least for me.
When it's implicit that the absorbed individual is effectively destroyed, or completely subsumed by the other, it just kills it for me. I far prefer scenarios where the absorbed state is clearly temporary, or otherwise somehow keeps the two components involved somehow intact, even if it's just the idea that the resulting being is the sum of all its parts, mind, body, memories, soul, etc., that both are still "alive" as a part of it.

No, that's only in the sequel shown further up (pink lineart); the creature is chasing two girls and manages to splash some onto one of them when she kicks at the monster's face before escaping through a door; the slime then crawls over her and converts her into another monster before she proceeds to consume the girl she was saving. The resulting monster largely resembles the second girl, and comes out to embrace the somewhat larger original monster in a mother/daughter sort of way.
The B&W stuff is from a set called "two become one" where the girl is outright absorbed. It's unclear whether in the case of absorption only one of the two minds survive; int two become one the only change is the original monster seeming to get bigger curves from absorbing the young girl, and in the one further up the new monster looks almost totally like the second (glasses) girl, who seemed to be the primary target of the first monster compared to her friend.
Though I agree with you, I prefer to imagine these monsters simply rebirthing girls they absorb as daughters of their own kind.
