Honestly I don't care about the thing in the picture being a furry. I just think its presence ruins the image. I can't fap to a pic of Gala when a kid with a hard cock is just sitting there, not even fucking her. I can't even crop it.
But as far as I can tell, it's mostly blanket hatred for the community and also probably the fine lines it draws with bestiality. Not to mention allowing furry openly would likely lead to more furry threads of separate specific genres at once than even futa/dickgirls could produce. It'd be a moderation nightmare.

It's a few things.
1: beastiality is a lot more taboo than dicks on women, fat women, etc. And yes, it is bestiality. The things being fucked are not humans, they are animals. On a side note, the big difference between what is considered furry and a monster girl is not as thin as people suspect. It boils down a lot to the facial structure - beastial is furry, human is monster girl.
2: the community. Dear lord the community. They aren't nearly as bad as they were in past years (albeit they are still really bad...) but picture a fandom as rabid as bronies. In fact bronies are pretty much just furries that single out ponies. And trust me, they will let you know they are furries.
3: a general abundance of awful art, fan characters, and more shoved into just about every fandom imaginable.
And this isn't even getting into the fursuit community.
