Free Cities 0.5.2, 'Brave New World,' up at freecities.blogspot.com. Most updates happen when I've checked enough items off the long list of things I want to add to justify a long debug followed by pushing an update. Sometimes on the other hand I suddenly get an idea that I really want to see live, and everything else gets to wait. (Sorry, sharkteeth anons.) This update is the latter kind: it adds the bare bones of a societal system for FC. It's been fun seeing anons describe the horrible little worlds they're creating, so now you can make your manipulation of the arcology's culture official. You get to choose one societal goal at 20 turns + basic rep, another at middle renown, and a third at very high renown. The options included are pretty basic, but raceplay anons, this one's for you.

You're an idiot. Select cheat/debug mode from the start screen. This will give you six very powerful slaves and a shit ton of money. It will also enable you to select random events instead of getting them rolled up for you; if you don't like that, go to the manage arcology screen and turn cheat mode off.

Select all the most expensive merc options. Fund the slaving razzia when they suggest it. Target the sick and injured in the raid event. Several turns later, an event during which you can buy her will pop. Bid high.

Have a very minimal amount of reputation and get to turn 20. You'll get an event that will describe the happening. This unlocks a society menu from the arcology management menu.

I'm trying to help a friend make a series of games in which several female characters have to escape being tied up or avoid being tied up in a point and click sort of thing. There's a bit of a story going on in it too. Or at least, I want the setting to be interesting, even if it's just a backdrop for someone getting tied up in a room.
What kind of stuff do you guys like to see in these? What kind of puzzles do you care for? Do you care about story at all? Do you think that something like this should be aware of what it is at the end of the day, or try to keep some real of "reality" in it.
For example, I like Fantasy Frontier, but it kind of takes me out of it when they start tickling each other and go about it like it's normal. But of course, Fantasy Frontier doesn't take itself seriously at all.
What do you guys think?
Would you ever purchase a game like this? How much would it have to have for you to want to do so?
Also, and most importantly, what kind of ties do you want to see? I had the idea of the ties being silly/more serious based on ow silly of a mistake is made, like walking out through a door when you know there's someone waiting for you on the other side of it, as opposed to being recaptured after an escape attempt
