There's honestly nothing quite like it, anon, I was recently thinking that it's likely my favorite Batman thing ever, to me it's the absolute best depiction of Batman and it's just such a fucking classic.

It had DTV quality animation, but there was no way the content of the movie would have been able to past broadcast standards and practice. They would have cut out the smoking, the implied sex, the old man's smiling corpse, Joker getting a tooth knocked out, and others.
