It's actually pretty good, all things considered. I can't recall much of anything from the show, but the movie sets everything up right at the start and it's simple enough, if anything a little too simple. The movie thrives on being awkward and unrefined, but thats Gary Baseman's style in a nutshell. The songs are also kind of catchy. Apparently the movie bombed, but critics liked it. Won't spoil the ending, but that's probably the worst past since it's wrapped up so everyone is happy; but it at least does it tounge and cheekly so it's not AS bad as it should be.
