So, I was thinking about something. In every flashback, Pearl was shown fighting with swords, and none of them seemed to be a produced weapon. She keeps them stacked away and all instead of making them vanish. So why does she use a spear nowadays?
I was thinking that it's probably because she had to take the time to really learn how to "make" one and only really gave it thought after the war was over. Maybe she only had the necessary peace of mind to call out the spear when things calmed down. And it also makes sense that it would be diddicult because Pearls are servants, not fighters, so of course it wasn't natural for her to produce a weapon. Same way Garnet usea gauntlets and they're from Ruby, Sapphire doesn't seem to really have anything of the sort aside future vision
All this to say, if Pearl took so long to get a weapon becauae of her class, I doubt we'll see Peridot producing a weapon. "Technician" is almost as divided from straigth up combat as "servant", so if anything she might just borrow something else to use like pearl had her swords.I want to see Peridot construct a giant robot and put the Light Cannons in there as her borrowed weapon

There's a screenshot of an office board with a picture of what appears to be a forge, so we might find out in that episode. Gem weapons could even be part of what Jasper meant by tactics.

That's actually a good way to try and give her character though. Right now she's a General or what have you, so she can't afford to go about being fair and playing by the rules on the battlefield when other people are under her command.
Like so a flashback to her war days where she really was this honorable warrior type, but because she kept surprising her superiors over and over again with her battle record they kept giving her more clout. Eventually we see that she had to make a tough call at one point, and with too many people under her command she went with the sneaky cowards way.
It might be why she views Fusions so distastefully, because she sees it as a cheap way of gaining an advantage and it reminds her too much of what she does in order to succeed.

Why do the gems, especially Homeworld gems, use female pronouns instead of having their own unique term to refer to themselves as the genderless alien species that they are? What use do they have of female pronouns for a species that doesn't have females or males?
It makes sense for the Crystal Gems to use such terms, especially Steven's sake and all the other fleshlings, but an alien race wouldn't have the need to use those terms among themselves. It seems to be that they would only bother with such terms when categorizing and referring to species where it would apply, such as humans and most of the organic life found on Earth, but that is not the case.

Lapis was a just privileged citizen. She likely didn't do anything, and just lived in luxury.
Gems are race that can survive without food, water, or shelter, so they don't need to obtain things to support themselves, which means gem likely don't have anything resembling our human economy. There isn't really "rich" or "poor", so not every gem has to have a role. In fact, it's likely a majority of gems have no roles at all besides simply existing, and leave all the work to the specifically-engineered worker castes.

Jasper was pretty quick to think of fusing with Lapis, and there didn't seem to be any hesitation considering how gems usually react to cross-gem fusion. She must be open-minded to some extent, especially since she seems like an older gem. She wanted to fight on more even grounds since Garnet is a dirty, horny cheater devoid of all honor while singing about how cheating in battle gives her the warm fuzzies.
She seemed pretty messed up when she saw Steven in the dream. She didn't get a chance to recollect herself enough to really speak coherently, she could have been trying to reach out for help.

Nah man, she just wanted to win. Jasper seems like the competitive type, maybe a bit of a sore loser but also someone that recognizes their oponents' strength. She recognized that fusion gave Garnet an edge and once she had the chance to run aroundas Malachite she recognized that it wasn't just a cheap trick.
Also, she commended Lapis on keeping her trapped for so long, and she was the one that said she respected Rose's tactics and all.
But all of that seems more like "I respect your methods if you show me they get results" instead of being "I respect your methods because of some moral weight"

Ok guys so this is what I'm thinking, I don't think Bismuth is the CRAZED WAR MACHINE that everyone seems to think she'll be and I'm pretty sure she got bubbled for a completely different reason. I'm pretty sure about this because TO ME it doesn't make sense for Rose to bubble her in Lion's mane as Lion's mane is the safest place on Earth, and why would Rose want to protect a war criminal se fervently. Also the fact that everything in Lion's mane was meant for Steven and was eventually all meant to be inherited by him and Rose expecting Steven to "fix" war criminal Busmuth seems too contrived and a bit too reliant on "Keikaku" powers.
What I'm thinking is that Bismuth must have been a Key member of the CG leaders in the early days of the rebellion and assuming the blacksmith theory is correct Bismuth must have been a major factor in determining the outcome of the war. As a result she became a major target for the Homeworld army and The Homeworld Armies targeted her specifically and that nearly caused her to get shattered, Rose realized this and at Bismuth's request bubbled her and protected her because on the chance that the CG's end up losing the war, Bismuth would be the most likely person to be able ti finish off what she started.
In terms of what she'll be doing in the present time I believe that she'll probably get bubbled or shattered again but instead of it being done by the CGs, I imagine it will be done by the Jasper corrupted form.
Typing this out I realized some problems with my theory but that's the general gist of it, tell me what you guys think and if you disagreeI wholly respect your opinion and think you're a wonderful person

The beauty of it is that is just makes so much sense. The whole "no, leave me the fuck alone you freak you did everything wrong" thing is completely sensible.
I may be kinda boring but the selling point for me was how sensible Lapis whole character felt. The other gems are super quirky and kinda extreme, Lapis is one of the characters that seems to be just as "what the fuck is even happening" as the audience.
Somehow she feels very human. Not sure if that is technically bad writing or not but I like her character anyway

My theory is that Rose knew Bismuth was really close to corrupting, and she preemptively bubbled her to avoid seeing her close personal friend become a monster. Her arc coming up deals with her fully corrupting, leaving Steven to find a way to fight her monster form and turn her back, which paves the way for curing all the other corrupted gems.

That's a pretty risky assumption to make. Corrupted Gems are WEIRD with a capital WEIRD. If there was a Gem with shrinking powers running around who got corrupted, she could well decide to collect human things to make herself a little human house.
And if we discount that possibility, then how did she get those things? They had to have come from somewhere, and there's no reason the Heaven Bettle's little bettle house couldn't have been made after her corruption. Why would anyone make it before her corruption?
