So I just watched this last night and I have to ask: so George Miller is going to direct a New Gods movie right? Or at least a Justice League film featuring Darkseid? Because Immortan Joe was practically Darkseid already and Joe's Wasteland was practically Apokalips. And the extent to which his army and followers were devoted to him were not unlike the way the Apokaliptans are brainwashed to live and die for Darkseid.

I am afraid that the New Gods are dead, and we'll never see a the complex evil god Darkseid is, because Marvel managed to push theirs first, and following them is not profitable for DC
