I actually really liked the show itself. It definitely had it's good moments, the dynamics between the animals worked well together-though the dog by itself was pretty shit-and it had interesting plots. The show had a lot of potential, especially considering that season 2 was supposedly meant to explore the overall plot more.

Should I watch this show? I read the books as a kid and remember liking them.
I still maintain the belief that this show was given the bare minimum of support just so CN could make a quick and dirty adaptation of the Bunnicula IP for a cheap way to hold onto it. So long as the IP is still in use, CN wouldn't lose the Bunnicula IP for any potential future endeavors, and Bunnicula wouldn't be cited for abandonment through lack of use.
They traded the possibility of a free-range Bunnicula for some cute teenage girls and the potential for another CN Bunnicula reboot down the line. Was it worth it?

I think the idea was to have have multiple different versions like the simpsons couch gag or the changing Animaniacs lyrics, but only had enough time/budget to come up with one alternate version.
