All kryptonians are supposed to have powers under a yellow sun, yet we have never seen any other kryptonian do the things that superman can do. Like pulling planets, punching reality apart, lifting infinite weight, etc. What makes him so special?

Edgy schmuck, sure. But he was a terrifyingly powerful edgy schmuck, considering pre-Crisis Supes level powers and next to no way to stop him effectively.
On the note of edgy Supes "clones", wouldn't Hank Henshaw qualify as potentially more powerful than Superman due to his abilities with machines?

I always thought he was weaker because he isn't full Kryptonian, but you're right on some point his affinity on machines may give him the upper hand in some situation.
