all the characters are pieces of shit in their own ways
the comedy is sometimes not so great
but the emotional stuff for some reason hooks me

if this, Duckman and No more Heroes taught us anything is that is fine if most of the cast are jerks as long as they acknowledge why they are jerks in the first place and they have some redeeming qualities.
