The books IDW is currently putting out are actually reprints of mostly Eurpean and Brazilian stuff. Although I suppose they are new to the US market.

In any case they're pretty good. Usually three stories per issue.

Reading Barks' stories first and then heading into Rosa's direct sequels would be a good start.

Lost in the Andes > Return to Plain Awful
Tralla La > Return to Xanadu

Basically, almost all of Barks' stories are essential since Rosa pays homage to a lot of em'. "Christmas on Bear Mountain." is tied directly to Life and Times final chapter, "The Richest Duck in the World."

If you don't want to track down each individual copy of IDW's stuff but would still like a physical copy check out their "Timless Tales" series of hardcovers. They're compilations of all the previously released IDW Uncle Scrooge comics. If I remember correctly the first hardcover covers issues 1 through 12.
