Probably the best designed patreon girl, she is cute in her own distinct way while also adding a bit of much-needed negativity to the comic. Not all that much of course, but it helps to keep the comic interesting when the characters aren't all happy-go-lucky goofball. Plus she makes some top tier faces.

I'm part of the (apparent) minority that finds her pretty cute, though I admit it is mostly the outfit and tomboy-ism that wins people over. Of course no one likes an ensemble character, so maybe it would help to have a page or two with Charlie and V separate. For some reason I always imagined her as an obsessive perfectionist.
Oh, and it looks kinda weird that out of the 3 bush vipers, Charlie is the only one not to have her head spikes actually somewhat distinguished. It looks... unfinished?

Lacey is probably my least favorite design of all in the comic. I think her gimmick is lame, I think her physical design is overly attention-grabbing, and her outfit is tacky as well. She doesn't seem at home in a high school setting, and looks like some random dudes personal OC.

As others have already stated her design is kinda lame from a visual standpoint, however if that conversation between her and amber is her actual personality, she seems like a bit of a cunt and that makes her a touch more interesting IMO. As long as every panel isn't just ATHLETICISM! EXERCISE! FLEXIBILITY! GYMNAST! In an overly annoying gimmicky way, I will be cool with her.

I definitely agree that separating Violet and Charlie for a scene or two would be good for Charlie's reception. She's far from my favorite, but a glimpse of what she does when she's away from Violet, even if she keeps a picture of her in her wallet or something, would do nothing but good for her.
I'm going to reserve my judgment for Lacey until she gets a second shot in the spotlight. Wanda went from average to interesting in two comics, and even with Lacey's design quirks she'd make a great athletic rival and/or wild card.

And of course this is not to say that I don't want boobage in SS. It's mostly that I have a hard time imagining lacey as a believable student. It's like if mamba was put in minus her stretchy powers as a teacher; what kind of schoolteacher would wear a loincloth?

It started out looking vaguely like a korean comedy manhwa style, and has steadily moved towards western-looking rounder character designs and less straight edges. I like it so far, though Esmerelda's introduction has made the art shift much more apparent than anyone else.

I think it started to kick in around the time the con arc started, and it seems to spruce up dialogue scenes pretty well. Camille and Charlie seem permanently afflicted, being the goofier punchline side characters. The redesign didn't come without some changes (RIP Camille's yellow lipstick), but it works well for a dialogue-driven comic.

If the artist really just wanted attention and was "using" the setting of the comic as bait, then the dialogue would have to be actually politically provocative, and sexual fanservice would be a lot more overt (think something on the level of liska stripping down to max power level, every other page of the comic).
Plus, from a strictly objective standpoint, if you want to make money off of animation, a one-man show freely publishing content on one of the worst art hosting sites, and publicly displaying your art process is not exactly the fast track to success. Doubly so when you consider how much effort is spent on the far less successful DMBA.
