Originally Kyle, because he had more personality, but after the Ass burgers episodes, i took a liking to Stan's new broken personality. Last season got kinda rid of it though.

Kyle can be pretty funny sometimes, but that's really mostly a result of his interactions with Cartman, to the point where a few seasons ago he was pretty much just an accessory to him.
But i like Stan as a character more due to his ability to still be believably naive in a childish way but still matured and developed to the point where he is now being all jaded and cynical towards things.

Stan used to be the straight man like Kyle, but also never really seemed to be opinionated/moralistic enough to assert himself like Kyle did, so he stood out the least among the main boys. Since they started making him into the cynic of the group, however, he's pulled ahead of Kyle as my favourite of the two characters.
