Me too, I actually miss when animation could be somewhat shitty.
I don't like what it's turned into.
It went from being a charming little cartoon that seemed to speak directly to the viewer into some big huge broadway-style show that I can only compare to those 3-D Dr. Seuss movies.
Also, the irises make them look like they're on drugs.
there's something about how shitty late-90's/early 00's CGI in TV shows was that make them so charming

I think the problem with jonah is that htey tried too hard to make it look 'good' for a theatrical release, and that just didn't work for the shoestring budget that they had.
