It's for little kids and little kids watch it? Not every cartoon is meant to be enjoyed by older audiences too. I bet there are a shit ton of garbage shows kept afloat because they entice elementary school children for some reason.

Because the Canadian government, in its infinite wisdom, decided a few years back that Canadian TV channels must show a certain % of Canadian created content. Thus, a mass tidal wave of shit has hit the airwaves.
