It wouldn't be as good as the show, and this is coming from a fan of the MCU as a whole (movies and shows alike [except AoS, because I just kinda stopped watching that before it even got to the Winter Soldier tie-in]).

With the success of both the Daredevil TV show and Deadpool I'm fairly confident you could convince someone at Disney to let it through.
Basically my basic pitch would be that Daredevil takes out some lame C-list villain. As Matt Murdock he works to defend said villain in court (they're up for the death penalty) and have outstanding crimes against them in California.
Matt Murdock flies over to San Francisco for the case. Being the adrenaline junkie that he is he takes his costume and does a little crime fighting in San Francisco. During one of his endeavours he encounters Black Widow and him and her defeat some mook level bad guys.
There's an instant attraction to one another and they fuck a lot.
Daredevil becomes involved in Black Widows mission and the two of them team up to take out the main badguy (some C or D-list Avengers villain).
Matt wins his case and flies back to Hell's Kitchen. They both leave each other some little gifts.
