this picture is from scott mccloud's "understanding comics" book. there are some drawings of other comics artists too, like chester brown, jaime hernandez and art spiegelman as you can see.

Look on the last page of the book, right hand column, halfway down. It lists all the artists/works used on page 56 (the page this is from). It's one of those, though exactly which one I'm not sure.
