The first game did alright, it was the second that killed the franchise. For good reason as evidently the team was rushed as hell and about 90 percent of the game was reused assets from the first, just moved around. The two player was clunky as well (Oswald couldn't do jackshit by himself).
It was too bad, I actually liked the first Epic Mickey aside from the camera.. which they didn't fix much at all in the sequel either.
