I've always liked the idea of her being a sort of taxi driver for superheroes. Sometimes a hero's primary transport is unavailable, and they need a lift. That's when they call Lady Blackhawk.

There's no way DC lets the Birds of Prey sit for long. It was one of their strongest B-list titles for years, and it's one of their best titles for character diversity. Plus, it sits close to the same niche Suicide Squad fills - strong connections to the DCU, but not important enough to prevent making serious changes. If Suicide Squad goes well, Birds of Prey would be perfectly suited for their own movie, especially since it'd give DC a chance to claim superhero movie territory Marvel hasn't - female superheroes. Marvel's still struggling to get as far as a solo Black Widow movie. If DC can land Wonder Woman's solo film, followed by a Birds of Prey movie? It'd have serious potential to prop up DC's flagging film efforts.
