Prejudice is probably the wrong word. Prejudices are often based on impressions form through culture, or your environment, society, and they are often then rationalized and given scientific or religious basis to further them along and do so institutionally (as with slavery in the south, and the further impact it had even well past the civil war).
He has a good basis for his suspicions and distrust. After all, THIS Superman is supposedly the one who was out in space with Lex's robot that Lex made of Lois Lane (aka Mrs. Superman) and Lex can be happy and have all this power do good and all these other things he wants but instead would prefer to still kill Supes. So, no prejudice is the wrong word to term it.
He was quick to pre-judge in this instance. His basis for doing so is not without merit.

This Superman tried to find something dirty on lex but he failed to find anything of the sort. This Lex has also saved the world and been a member of the Justice League (and teammate to the old Superman) for a while. And he confronted him after Lex saved a bunch of hostages. And he then confronts him based on things done by a completely different Lex that this guy never even knew of. Now I'm no expert on the English language, but I think the usage of the word 'prejudice' is fine.

Realistically, the cape was in the hands of Bruce and Diana so the league could have taken it, in fact Steel and Lana were there, they could have taken it, there's no reason for the Planet to have ownership of it.
Even if they wanted to ret-con the entire Kryptonian armor from the first year of the New 52, as recently as the Truth yadda yadda, they showed the Fortress taking the shield away from Clark and parts of the cape. There's absolutely no reason for anyone who was present at his death to simply turn the actual cape over to anyone who wouldn't safeguard it as much as the fortress would, given the 0 and other issues showing what the cape alone was capable of.

Lex didn't consider Superman a teammate, which is why he shut him out of the Watchtower and the mission, which allowed Savage to take it over, and to get the League out of the way. Lex also tried to kill Super Bro in Apokolips. He forced his way onto the League by threatening Bruce.
The only way he helped save the world was from the Crime Syndicate and only because his counterpart their (albeit equally evil) was the Shazam avatar with the same speech inflections of this Lex (proving more than anything else that parallel universe doppelgangers are far more alike than they are different, dude - at least in the DC universe).
As I (and a bunch of people said) a week ago, Lois and Clark (aka The Whites) don't have the access to the Fortress AI, the League, Batman's computers, The Daily Planet, etc., in order to be able to prove anything about anyone with out a great deal of work and digging. Lois is able to write her books because she knows what happened on their earth and knows what to look for and dig for here, making it still difficult but not impossible.
In Lex's case, even in 30+ post-Crisis years, it was hard for ANYONE to make anything stick against Luthor, and that was with far more resources.
I think all those lines were poorly written and that this entire story-line was not well conceived. It doesn't really make Lex look as good as you and a few other Lex fan boys are getting hard-ons over and it doesn't make Super Dad look bad save for the dialogue. Nothing Super Dad says in those few panels is anything akin to what Lex has shouted at Superman over the past five years (meaning this Lex).

You're completely misunderstanding me. I am not fanboying over Lex. I've been looking forward to his full villainous return since he became a "hero". My problem is with how Superman reacted to it. He is in hiding and then he sees that and immediately decides to shave his beard and hunt down Lex. And I wish I was being hyperbolic when I say immediately. It makes it look like SuperDad can't see past his own negative views on Lex. For all he knows this Luthor could be a good guy unlike his own.
