10/10 art
>>83952629
What's that from bruv? Gimme a little spoon feed.
>>83952685
It is either Dredd fan art or a Cover
>>83952629
It that actually from a dredd strip/official or fan art?
>>83952629
>>83952685
Should've posted the full sized version.

Metallic ink variant.
>>83953095
Glow in the dark variant.
>>83952672
What is this? Please don't tell me that is from Big 2, it looks good.
>>83953134
this is well drawn and all, but there's something really jarring about seeing punisher's big dumb suit in an almost realistic setting
>>83953151
Mr. X it isn't and it has a pretty cool list of talent who has worked on it.
>>83952968
>>83953085
Yeah, I need to own these
>>83953151
Mister X. Created/designed/overseen/"directed"/"produced" by 80s novel cover illustrator Dean Motter. The first volume was mostly drawn and scripted by the Hernandez brothers (of Love and Rockets fame) based on Dean Motter's guidelines, with Motter in a "creative director" sort of role. The second and third volumes had various people working on them, again with Motter overseeing and directing the work. The current series revival is fully written and drawn by Dean Motter. There are two related works titled Electropolis and Terminal City.
THE most singular vision in comics, and one of the best series in the history of the medium. The best "forgotten" indie comic ever published.
Early comics were published by multiple ULTRA obscure publishers that I can't even remember. The current revival is from Dark Horse.

Things that will never happen thanks to fucking slott
>>83959835
I really doubt Slott gets must say in that regard. OMD was all higher-up editorial, and the whole 'anti-marriage' agenda has been a priority at Marvel for YEARS.

1.) Its what I had on hand.
2.) David Yardin is very underrated IMO.
Pic related, he does a great Medusa.
3.) Hate Kolins and never heard of Ringo.

I hope you hate Mark Bagley.
>>83960041
His art for the Topps Comics adaptation for Bram Stoker's DRACULA is 12/10.
Needs some Tim Bradstreet.
>>83960094
>>83959939
wish he'd lessen the whole outrage thing and started drawing like pic related again
>>83960100
>I hope you hate Mark Bagley.
I moderately dislike Bagley. He is pure generic-ness.
>>83959746
Its because I was specting a retro spy thriller with low focus on metas, if it was Xmen related, it would hardly be about it.
>>83953313

Dude needs to get his ass to art school and take anatomy classes. One reason why I'll never read Ultimate Spider-Man v1.
>>83960168
No idea why Gary Frank always draws his Superman/Clark Kent with 10/10 resemblance to Christopher Reeve. Dude needs to be on a Superman '78 series where it's the original ideas for Superman II, a completely different III and IV.
Frank Cho is fine too. Will he ever finish Liberty Meadows? Will characters Frank and Brandy ever get married?
>>83960163
you don't have a point. you're upset over good art in a thread about good art.
The ass of Thor 3's Valkyrie is a work of art...

>>83960672
Doug Mahnke too. Volume 3 and Volume 4 of GREEN LANTERN had a lot of great artists. Pat Broderick too. But I don't like Mark Bright's artwork.
Kevin Maguire is another one of my favorites. Same goes for Brian Stelfreeze.
>>83960745
Classic X-MEN/X-MEN Classic are worth it to buy solely for the Art Adams covers and also being great reprints.

You're a bad anon, anon. Manga are comics.
These boards really should be divided by medium. Give me a /coma/ - Comics & Manga board before I die, please. I just want to talk about comics without people like you throwing fits.
Still pround to have bought this.

>>83961279
at least he's been posting appropriate, here.
>>83961319
P. Craig Russell or someone else? Didn't he also do some covers and interiors for Doctor Strange?

>fell off a roof partying
On the one hand yes, terrible and preventable way to go, but at least he died having fun and probably died instantly upon impact
>>83961267
His Emma frost looks like a 60 year old Asian dwarf.
>>83961496
Sometimes his people are off and their faces can look a little wrinkly, but his style is fantastic and the attention to detail he makes is unreal. Very good, clean artist, especially paired with Jamie Grant.
>>83960056
>mfw I had an argument with an anon who claimed that prose can accomplish this sort of scene just as effectively
I really hope he was trolling
>>83961608
That's one of the strengths of comic books over any other medium.
Also that makes me want to read Cerebus.
>>83960644
It was Yannick Paquette but honestly the inking and coloring leaves something to be desired vs stuff like Swamp Thing and WW E1
>>83961364
Bissette and Totleben you fucking mong. How can you possibly be commenting on every fucking post like some authority on art without knowing one of the GOAT big 2 runs?

Perez & Phil Jimenez > Ron Lim
>>83961838

>>83961888
His work on infinity Gauntlet was exceptional, the paneling on those first 2 pages and use of motion blur are amazing
>>83962067
I think I liked his run on Silver Surfer more. Do you mean George Perez? Cause Perez is one of my all-time favorite comics artists.
