Really, in terms of powers, all Jason has is his virtually unlimited pain threshold, a low-level healing factor (compared to one like wolverine's or deadpool's), superior strength, and a weird, ambiguous connection with nature that is never really clearly defined or stated. That makes him really hard to kill, but really that's about it. His relatively poor motor skills combined with him being literally fucking retarded puts him at a major disadvantage against pretty much everyone except the most low-tier of jobbers.

Not really, Jason isn't too keen on the whole "revenge" thing outside of anything that affects his mother. Steve Rogers didn't need to KILL Jason in order to beat him. Plenty of near-immortal villains in Marvel have been beaten and imprisoned successfully. No, Steve will not be able to kill Jason, but he is skilled enough to incapacitate him to the point that Jason couldn't fight back. It isn't Steve's first time fighting someone with a healing factor.

So what? That is borderline mundane in the Comicverse. Everyone eventually dies and come back to life more than once. You are talking about him in isolation, as if her is still in his own universe where everyone else are just victims. In the Comic world he is just your standard immortal. It is nice to always come back, sure, but he isn't unique or unusual in that respect.
