Pretty sure it's usually his choice in artists more than it's him. I remember during the Multiversity press interviews people were asking him questions that he literally could not remember the answers to because he wrote those scripts a good three years before the comic was released. The delays were Nameless were also all on art end as well. Burnam had a baby if I remember right.
