What we know so far:

It's looking more and more likely the game is part adapting Tower Of Babel (In having Batman create Brother Eye to montor Metas and create contingency plans to defeat them in case they come back to life) and characters that were dead in IJ cannon coming back to life (Ra's Al Ghoul and the league of assassins stole the data and used it against the JLA.
