It's about a minority group that makes up roughly 1/10 of the population and who are thought to be more violent and criminal than the majority.
One character grew up in such an environment and instead of following his dreams, he becomes a criminal because that's what people expect of him.
It turns out that a lot of this perceived violence is due to the majority group giving drugs to the minorities so that they act even more violent, that way the majority can be justified in their prejudices.

The focus groups weren't just speaking as audience members but business people and Disney people. The movie wasn't smart to market as the world that was being built was hard to like. Any solution didn't excuse the prey's actions against the predators, which would have been the point. It would have been an uncomfortable movie with an uncomfortable moral that really should be mostly set aside and the audience should just appreciate the unique "racial" dynamic in Zootopia and see their problems as like ours but worse in their own special way. The relationship between Nick and Judy was suppose to show us that the town wasn't beyond saving, just that it would take time. That doesn't make for a very good Disney ending.

As shown in pic related, you'll see Judy and her little machine. Note that the number at the left side is 001 and the right is 072.
The time when she register her first ticket is 09:16 on Monday which makes perfect sense, but when you look 72 tickets later the time is fucked up and quite literally went one minute back in time to 09:15 on Monday.
But it gets deeper when the location is probably the same as well (Banyon Ave.) which sounds a little weird to put 72 tickets in one street. Also the vehicle type the same but for a change this is actually possible so I won't mind it as much. (But I think that "Hero" is the name of the vehicle that Judy uses)
But still they bothered to change the ticked ID and vehicle color despise the other errors. Explain!!
