To be honest. I'm interested in drawing interesting stuff from the setting. Waifus and Husbandos is kind of a side-thing.
Aaron always said Endtown comic is more world-centric than character-centric as there are not really set protagonists - we've been through Al & Gustine, Flask&Wally&Holly, Linda&Maude&Holly, Wally&Holly&Jim&Sarah, Wally&Holly&Kirbee, now it's Holly flashback... and soon Walt&Dottie.
Plus in all honesty - the "staying power" of a character drives me off. I'm not gonna get invested in drawing lewds of character that meets a demise soon. It weirds me out.

The one thing that makes me think it's not Marx is the fact that he's not acting like a carefree douchebag and sucking the tension out of the situation like he's famous for.

Writing fuckups aside, there's a surprising amount of plot depth going on in the background of the comic when people actually go looking for it. The Darling family in general raised a shitload of horrifying questions and the people who act like the last chapter was just 60 pages of lesbian jokes haven't actually read it.

Personally I think it's dumb, but I can sort of understand gay people wanting their sexuality having more exposure since the more often we see it in mass media the less abnormal it seems in real life.
But they have to understand that that whole thing can kind of backlash if those gay characters keep being made to pander to them at the expense of good writing.
Those characters can become correlated with the idea of bad writing and seen as ruining the work they're in and then it all comes back to the people that bitched enough to have the gayness get shoehorned in in the first place.

Here's the thing I can't agree with about your argument. Poppy never actually makes a big deal about its characters' sexualities.
No one's sexuality is actually discussed in-universe, the words "gay," "lesbian," or "bisexual" never come up and nobody seems to treat it as abnormal or surprising. Valente is never even actually confirmed to be gay, just "not interested in women," and most people only noticed Hallia was trans because Morbi came out and admitted it in advance.
It's just a setting where open bisexuality seems to be the norm and no one really thinks anything odd about it, which makes sense internally, since their culture developed alongside magical plants that allows every non-opossum couple to have children. These people just exist, and the fact that their sexualities would come as any surprise means they're not really defined by them.

Hey guys! After a pretty successful weekend I got to work on another skill system revision. Yeah, yeah, I know. I can quit whenever I feel like it! Jawed with the testers for abit to work this out. Suule even made a graphic and worksheet revisions.
>Skill are categorized into three types: Bonus skills, Use skills, and Challenge Skills.
>Bonus skills are combat related. They give you a bonus to something else.
>Use skills are the bulk of the skills. Basically a Use skill is something that takes an action or doing something. I thought about calling them Action Skills but I think that would be confusing.
>Challenge Skills are skills where you and an opponent must roll off. Stealth skills are a good example.
>Every skill level gives you +10 to your roll for that skill.
>With medical skills the player sets his own difficulty based on how much he wants to heal.
Recapping from the revision last week:
>All Use Skills must roll 60 and higher as a base requirement. The GM can increase this base depending on how much harder they feel it is. Sneaking past a motion detector, picking a safe in a clocktower, etc.

It seems complicated but for the most part it actually hasn't changed. Its just three steps:

In the end she accepted that "shit happens" without purpose and it was wrong to try to make Wally compensate for it but it took getting killed in a senseless shooting to realize it.
