I've seen this, it's actually a (very loose) sequel to Don Quixote and is not terrible for a foreign CGI film. Whoever made it was almost certainly in on the joke about marketing it as Shrek related.
i hear it's not bad in French but William Shatner gives one of the most baffling and terrible performances i've ever heard. also does anyone remember the one where the poster ripped off Shark Tale but it actually had really good 2-D animation? i think it was on Netflix for awhile

The only one of the mockbusters I've seen was the Sherlock Holmes one because I heard it was the least terrible.
I didn't hate it. Sherlock Holmes fights robot dinosaurs and a villain dressed like Steampunk Iron Man.
