He is literally a god. He defeated a demon that was hundreds of feat tall effortlessly. His powers seem to be nondescript. He can cause dreams, mutate people and monsters, and really hasn't had to try very hard since becoming godhand. Guts ha spotted stronger but>>83671107

Problem with most comic villains is since good beating evil is the most tired trope we know that the heroes will almost always win
Rebirth Doctor Manhattan seems to pretty OP considering he's killed two immortal gods and stole 10 years from the universe
Sure they can beat him but he always comes back
Without a doubt the most unbeatable comic antagonist is Death it's a unbeatable abstract concept that will eventually get you no matter what

That was the point of Justice Incarnate traveling to the "real" world. And why they're called "Incarnate". If you Incarnate the values of super heroes then you defeat the Empty Hand.
So no, he's not beyond the ability of the super heroes to defeat. You just have to Incarnate them into YOUR story as the heroes incarnated into several stories throughout Multiversity.

It's actually sort of funny. Pre Crisis Superman constantly ran up against guys he couldn't beat. Even when he could break the bonds of infinity Brainiac would have a stronger force field or he'd fight someone magical or who could bend reality.
I think he might have actually gotten his ass kicked more often than modern Superman. Casuals just don't know this because they have the "Superman is a boring invincible god" narrative crammed down their throats for years.

Anyone remember the time the ancient pantheons all got together to create a not-Shazam named Zha-Vam that could use every last one of their powers from Zeus to Vishnu?
They did it because they were jealous that Superman was more powerful than them individually.
That was Pre-Crisis Superman. You had to fusion-dance the gods of mythology to create something that could beat him, but the writers were crazy enough to do just that. And stuff like Zha-Vam happened often.

One of the "themes' of pre-crisis Superman comics was Superman becoming humiliated by a threat and having to use his brain to win the rematch. It demonstrated Superman's humility and persistence.

There doesn't seem to be any being that can match up to them. They don't even merely warp reality, they essentially make reality their fucking bitch. I can't seem to remember any beings out there which can sufficiently stomp 5-D imps. The Empty Hand may be more powerful than them, but that hasn't been fully confirmed.

Grant Morrison's Justice League 1 million. Superman Prime (Who is regular Superman) goes on to sire a benevolent dynasty of Supermen whose family tree includes a 5-D imp Superman and a Kryptonian-Imp hybrids.
He himself learns how to warp reality from 5-D imps (and all knowledge in creation for that matter) and hangs out for a couple of centuries inside the sun to power up. When he emerges he's OP as fuck and ushers in a golden age for the entire universe.
