I really feel bad for her, it's rare to see a character like a teacher being well written. Usually they are just freaks, meanies, bland lifeless divinities or lazy bums.
She really tries, she is underpaid and lonely, but she wants to be a teacher and do everything she can. Hurts deep that no one understands this

This is probably true for half of your teachers throughout your life.
What's worse is that you never gave them a simple thank you.
I find teachers are generally the characters cartoons like these get the most accurately. Just usually they don't show their away from class time as much as they show Ms. Bakers. And that too is pretty accurate. I rarely thought of my teachers as people until high school, and even then it wasn't til college that I ever saw them out of their element.
I'd say most if not all of the adults on Clarence are great, but it's certainly easier to see with Ms. Baker since she interacts with the kids the most.
