Is there a laziest way to retcon a whole event? Man, Bendis must really hate Humphries.
And what does this mean for Angel? Why hasn't his powers faded yet?

You definitely shouldn't read it for the story. OP is just an example of how lazy the resolution to his arcs are. There's not a single Bendis Guardians story since he started that had a satisfying ending. They're all half assed and all the things he sets have even more half assed explanations. See OP.
