>According to Kirk Tingblad, in 2003 an updated version of Tiny Toons was in development at Warner Bros. and it was extremely close to getting a green light for production. Cartoon Network asked for a teenage version of Tiny Toons, similar to the likes of That 70's Show or The Archies. Gary Hartle and Kirk Tingblad were going to be the show's producers/directors. However, it was later turned down by Cartoon Network executives, who instead wanted a show with the classic Looney Tunes characters (which resulted in a Duck Dodgers movie, which later became a TV series). There only exist character designs and character situation art done by Spike Brandt and Tony Cervone. As Warner Bros. had no other venue at the time, it was put into a box and packed away into the Warner Bros. vault.
